What happens if my student gets sick and needs hospitalization?

If a student becomes ill they should call the clinic and come in to be seen. We treat many conditions in the clinic, including dehydration, which is a major cause of hospitalization. In many cases, we can administer IV fluids and medications in the clinic, monitor the patient for several hours and have them feeling much better so they can return to their room at the end of the day. If they do not improve enough to return to their room, we will arrange transport to a local hospital. You will be contacted by our staff and updated throughout this process.
